Touch Up Stain Instructions

Materials Needed

A container of clean water (for cleanup)

Two to three soft cloths (preferably cotton)

A clean dabber


Preparation

Ensure Conditions Are Right:

Never apply stain if the piece is wet or if the temperature is below 50°F.

Always work in a dry, warm area.

Surface Preparation:

Wipe all dust and debris off the piece thoroughly to achieve a smooth, clean finish.


Application

Apply Stain Sparingly:

Use a light touch when applying stain. Multiple thin layers will yield better results than a single heavy application. Repeat the process as needed for optimal coverage.

Test Before Full Application:

It is highly recommended to test the stain on a small, inconspicuous area near the base of the product. This ensures the stain color matches properly before proceeding with the main touch-up.
