Can you tell me about your finishes?

At Massarelli’s, every product is individually handcrafted and hand-finished by skilled artisans—no two pieces are exactly alike. This unique craftsmanship means that variations in color, shape, size, and texture are part of the charm and character of each piece. We photograph our statuary in a variety of settings using both natural and artificial lighting to showcase their detail and finish. However, please note that actual products may look different in person compared to how they appear in our catalogs or online.

Can I customize the design of a Massarelli’s product?

Our product designs are not customizable. However, you can choose from a wide range of beautiful hand-applied finishes to personalize your piece.

What finish options are available?

We offer a wide variety of handcrafted finishes. You can view finish samples through your authorized dealer or by visiting the Finishes tab on our website. Each finish is hand-applied, ensuring a unique and beautiful appearance.

Will the color of my product exactly match the sample/color medallion?

Our color medallions are provided as close representations of each finish. However, because finishes are applied by hand, and because surface shape, size, and texture influence the final appearance, the medallion may not exactly match the finish on your specific product. Over time, finishes are designed to naturally age and change based on exposure to weather and environmental conditions. For this reason, we do not guarantee or warrant that a finish will remain static or precisely match any photograph, sample, or medallion.

Every Massarelli’s piece is crafted using premium materials sourced close to home. Our sand comes from our hometown of Hammonton, New Jersey, our lightweight stone is sourced from New York, and our cement is supplied from Pennsylvania — all within our region.

Detailed assembly instructions can be downloaded from our website. We recommend placing the fountain on a level, stable surface, securely connecting the pump, and filling the basin with clean water before operation.

What should I do if my fountain pump isn’t working?

First, check to make sure the pump is properly connected to a working GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) power source and that it is fully submerged in water. A tripped GFI outlet is a common cause of pump issues.

Also, inspect the pump intake for any debris or blockages and clean it if needed to ensure proper water flow.
